A calm fourth week of the season produced few changes in the two NCAA Softball polls released on Tuesday. Florida State stayed atop the Coaches Poll while rival Florida remained the top team in the ESPN.com/USA Softball Poll.

The Coaches Poll saw the top four stay the same. Florida State (17 first-place votes) is followed by Auburn (2 first-place votes), Florida (7 first-place votes), and Oregon (2 first-place votes). The Ducks are off to their best start in school history at 19-0. Arizona is at number five, up one place from last week’s ranking.

Texas A&M (2 first-place votes) slipped a spot to six after their first loss to Houston last week, 1-0. Minnesota moved up three spots to seventh and garnered 2 first-place votes. The Gophers are undefeated at 18-0, which is the best start in program history. The top ten is rounded out by Washington, Oklahoma, and UCLA.

Alabama, LSU, James Madison, and Tennessee are 11th through 14th. Baylor is the biggest mover going from 22nd to 15th after going 5-0 with wins over then-ranked #7 UCLA, #8 Washington, #14 Michigan, and #20 Arizona State.

16 through 20 is occupied by Georgia, Michigan, Louisiana-Lafayette, Kentucky, and Utah. The final five teams in the Coaches Poll are Arizona State, Ole Miss, California, Missouri, and BYU. BYU is back in the top 25 with Pittsburgh dropping out of the rankings. The entire Coaches Poll top 25 can be seen below.
