Another calm week in college softball allowed the Florida Gators and Florida State Seminoles to stay at number one in their respective polls. The Seminoles are number one in the Coaches Poll while the Gators top the ESPN.com/USA Softball poll.
In the Coaches Poll, Florida State is first with 23 first-place votes. The Gators are second with 5 first-place votes and Oregon is third with 4 first-place votes. Florida and Oregon both moved up a spot at the expense of Auburn, who fell from second to fourth. Arizona is fifth, which is where they were ranked last week.
Sixth through tenth had some movement, but no new teams. Washington (8th last week), Texas A&M (6th last week), and Minnesota (7th last week) all swapped positions. The Gophers suffered their first two losses of the season versus Washington. Oklahoma and UCLA did not see a change in the polls and sit at ninth and tenth, respectively.
Alabama, James Madison, LSU, Baylor, and Tennessee are 11th through 15th. LSU dropped their series versus Auburn two games to one over the weekend. 16th through 20th belongs to Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana-Lafayette, Michigan, and Utah.
The bottom of the Coaches Poll sees only one change. Arizona State, Ole Miss, and California remain at 21, 22, and 23, respectively. Wisconsin makes their first entry into the Coaches Poll at 24, replacing Missouri. BYU stays at 25. The entire poll can be seen below.

In USA Softball’s poll, Florida received 11 first-place votes with Florida State (4 first-place votes) and Oregon (5 first-place votes) staying in place. Arizona moved up two spots to fourth and Auburn dropped one spot to fifth.
Washington moved up two spots to sixth and Texas A&M dropped two spots to seventh. Alabama is eighth, Minnesota is ninth, and rounding out the top ten is Oklahoma.
UCLA, LSU, James Madison, Tennessee, and Baylor 11th through 15, respectively. Georgia is 15th followed by Michigan, Kentucky, Louisiana-Lafayette, and California to round out the top 20.
The last five teams in the USA Softball poll are Utah, Arizona State, Wisconsin, Ole Miss, and Arkansas. No teams dropped out of the top 25 and the entire poll can be seen below.
