2016 NCAA Division 1 Softball Super Regionals
After one weekend of play, the 2016 NCAA Division 1 Softball tournament has been cut down to 16 teams. The bracket can be found here. Those 16 teams will meet in a best-of-three series to decide the 8 teams that will comprise the 2016 Women’s College World Series.
Two national seeds were knocked out in the regional round in #9 Kentucky and #13 Tennessee, both from the SEC and both would have been on the road. Below are the 16 teams that made the Super Regional.

Women’s College World Series
The 2016 Women’s College World Series will take place between Thursday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 8 with every game shown on one of the ESPN family of network channels. All of the games will take place at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium and OGE Energy Field from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. We will have a post when the teams and schedules are known for the 2016 WCWS.
