2015 NCAA Division I Softball Bracket Announced

The top four seeds were revealed a half-hour prior to the selection show. The Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators, Michigan Wolverines, and Oregon Ducks were the top four seeds in alphabetical order. The top four seeds were later revealed to be the Florida Gators, Oregon Ducks, Michigan Wolverines, and Auburn Tigers.

Automatic Bids

A total of 32 automatic bids were handed out. Automatic bids go to the winners of the conference tournaments with the exception of the Big 12, Big West, Mountain West, Pac 12, and West Coast Conferences. Those five conferences award automatic bids the regular season champion.

Super Regionals

The Super Regional round of the 2015 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament will be a best two out of three series between the dates of Thursday, May 21 and Sunday, May 24. The campus sites for each Super Regional will be determined upon completion of the Regionals.

Women’s College World Series

The 2015 Women’s College World Series will take place between Thursday, May 28 and Wednesday, June 3 with every game shown on one of the ESPN family of network channels. Each one of those games will take place at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium from Oklahoma City.
