Pac-12 And Big 12 Schools Set Future Games
On Monday, Arizona and Texas Tech agreed to play each other in the future while Colorado and TCU agreed to play each other as well on Tuesday.
TheĀ Arizona Wildcats will play at home in 2019 before Texas Tech gets their home game in 2020. The dates have not been announced yet. The Wildcats and Red Raiders have faced each other 32 times, but have not played since 1989. Texas Tech holds a massive 26-4-2 edge over Arizona. ESPN’s Brett McMurphy originally reported the news via Twitter.
McMurphy again provided the information on Tuesday of Colorado and TCU agreeing to play a home-and-home series. TCU will play at home in 2022 before Colorado gets the home date in Boulder for 2023. As with Arizona and Texas Tech, the dates for the 2022 and 2023 series between TCU and Colorado have not been confirmed. The Horned Frogs and Buffaloes have not faced each other in football.
Colorado used to be a member of the Big 12 before the seismic shift in college football realigned nearly every conference. TCU was one of the replacements for the Big 12 after Nebraska departed for the Big Ten conference. Colorado and Nebraska will rekindle their rivalry in 2018 and 2019. The two teams will also play in 2023 and 2024 as part of the four game series.
